During well intervention operation, as part of a campaign covering reservoir analysis and surveys, a client installed a 4-1/2” retrievable bridge plug above a set of downhole gauges.
Well Key®
GS Pulling Tool
For fishing operations
The Well Key® GS Pulling Tool is based on the Welltec‘s existing Well Key design. This tool is used for pulling plugs and fishing operations.
It is activated to latch on to a fish neck mechanically. Instead of the key pads of the standard Well Key, a GS (which is essentially a fishing spear) will be active.

The Well Key GS Pulling Tool is activated to latch on to a fish neck mechanically. Instead of the key pads of the standard Well Key, a GS (which is essentially a fishing spear) will be active.
It is capable of latching when powered on and de-activated, i.e. releasing when powered off. This tool is reinforced to withstand high tensile force that can be required during fishing operations.
