The department

To support our mission to provide effective and quantifiable energy solutions in a safe and sustainable manner, Welltec is strengthening the QHSE organization and actively recruiting for a QHSE Coordinator with a global role. This role will support our mission to provide effective and quantifiable energy solutions in a safe and sustainable manner. 

 

The position will be based in our office in Allerød, Denmark. The work environment is informal but at times hectic as we are at the core of the company, deadlines can be tight, and focus can change quickly.

The position 

The QHSE Coordinator provides continuous advice and support to ensure activities are conducted in accordance with internal and external requirements, promoting safe, reliable and sustainable solutions.

You will be responsible to effectively support the implementation of QHSE processes globally.

Key Responsibilities:

For two product manufacturing sites (in Esbjerg and Allerød):

  • Main driver for HSE; identifying gaps and launching improvement initiatives aligned with global QHSE direction.
  • SCOP card review, count, and follow-up.
  • Safety meetings with staff at site locations.
  • Encouragement of reporting of incidents, Near Misses, and SCOP cards.
  • Updating registers and documents on the HSE Wall.
  • Maintain safety posters at both sites.
  • Periodic HSE site inspections and client inspection preparations.
  • Planning and realization of drills.
  • Managing case handling systems
  • Up-dating procedures in the QMS

 

Support the global QHSE team in the successful delivery of the following functional tasks:

  • Conduct and facilitate audits & investigations, assuring QHSE standards & due close-out findings.
  • Proactively plan, monitor and address findings of certification processes, covering ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, API Spec Q1 & Q2 and other applicative normative reference.
  • Enable the effectiveness of the Company Management System incorporating legislative, regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Review Response Plans effectiveness (Emergency, Crisis, Infection, etc.).
  • Maintain integrity of QHSE reporting systems (e.g. observations (SCOP), incident reports (IRS), audits findings, environmental reports, etc).
  • Analyse and monitor QHSE trends, standardizing QHSE reports to support decision-making and continual improvement.
  • Develop, promote & monitor QHSE training & Safety leadership programs.
  • Facilitate QHSE meetings/forums and the Occupation Health and Safety Committee for Danish sites.
  • Monitor and maintain the Legal and Other Requirements Register (HSE section).
  • Review and enhance integrated risk management processes.
  • Enable the implementation of annual QHSE campaigns, through multi-layered communication channels.

  • Preferred: Practical experience within engineering/Oil & gas/energy industries.
