The department

Welltec is actively recruiting a Field Engineer 1 for Qatar based in Doha as part of Welltec’s Global Operations function. We are growing rapidly and are extremely busy, which is why we are looking for a new colleague to join the team. The position 

To further strengthen and support our operations in  Qatar (and other Middle East countries), we are looking for highly motivated Field Engineers.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Prepare and execute complex onshore and offshore operations across Qatar
• Perform job load-out and rig up/down at wellsite, both land and offshore environments
• Follow detailed processes and procedures to maintain an industry-leading level of service quality
• Maintain equipment and facilities in an orderly and workable condition
  
  
  

The candidate

The preferred candidate has the following profile:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience with Welltec
• Take  responsibility  as  lead  engineer  on assigned operations, be forward-learning and HSE minded
• Accurately complete all relevant paperwork associated with a job, including but not limited to the job report and field ticket, in a neat and timely manner
• Be an ambassador for  Welltec and  Welltec technology when performing a job on-site. This includes building good relationships and promoting Welltec services
• In addition to conveyance has extensive experience in Welltec Mechanical/ Milling and Cutter service
• Be a highly motivated individual who approaches challenges positively and is willing to work under pressure and in varying remote conditions. Offshore experience is mandatory
• Ensures that all duties are carried out with due diligence to customers and  Welltec  QHSE Policies
• Leads by example in promoting and maintaining a safe workplace and holding others in the field accountable to this high level
• Must understand and comply with all HSE, HR, and company policies of Welltec
