The position 

As a Field Engineer, you’ll be involved in every part of our business. From helping acquire essential data to planning long-term well development, you’ll organize, run, and report operations in the field environment. Your training will be hands-on as you learn about the energy industry and become familiar with operating our specialized technology. You’ll be asked to learn a lot quickly, and you’ll be given responsibility and support to make your impact and start becoming a leader in our business.


The first 6 months will primarily be based at our workshop in Bergen to gain knowledge of our specialized equipment and technology with a view to assisting in offshore operations.



Key responsibilities 

  • Performing offshore operations including equipment testing and preparation, execution of complex interventions operations, rig up/down on wellsite.
  • Follow detailed company processes and procedures to maintain an industry leading level of service quality.
  • Assisting our experienced team when performing large scale operations
  • Undertaking technical, safety, and shop/office responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager
  • Always Upholding our high level of customer service
  • Maintaining equipment and facilities in an orderly and workable condition



The candidate

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor within mechanical or electronical engineering, or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering discipline, although this is not essential. Should have a good understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principals and be able to grasp new technology and ideas quickly.  Candidates should be able to complete the standard requirements to travel offshore, offshore medical and survival.  They should be a highly motivated individual who is willing to work under pressure and in varying conditions.


The candidate should be IT confident, proficient in Microsoft packages such as Word and Excel and be capable of learning to use bespoke software quickly.
