The department

Welltec is looking for a motivated Accountant to become part of our dynamic HQ accounting team based in Allerød. Our HQ accounting team comprises 10 talented professionals from diverse backgrounds and nationalities, fostering a collaborative ans inclusive work environment.

In addition to accounting, the finance department is structured into four specialized teams: Financial Planning & Analysis, Group Reporting, Treasury and Tax. Together, these teams work cohesively to support the organization's financial health and strategic objectives.

 

The position 

You will be actively involved in the daily operational tasks and have a portfolio of own responsibilities. This blend of responsibilities will ensure a dynamic and enriching work experience.


Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • Daily accounting work; registrations, invoicing, payments, AR and AP follow-up, expense management, bank reconciliations, vendor management and ad-hoc
  • VAT and Danmarks Statistik reporting 
  • Month-close tasks
  • Audit preparations
  • Maintenance of process descriptions
  • Frequent interaction with the global finance organisation


The candidate       

We’re looking for someone who has a strong sense of ownership, is service minded and a team player and have a positive attitude, are curious and eager to investigate and broaden the horizon, a good communicator and have good stakeholder management skills. Adhering to deadlines is self-evident.

We imagine that you:

  • Have a track record within full scope Accounting +3 years 
  • Have a relevant basic-level education, e.g. finalised trainee (Økonomielev)  
  • Have a understanding of a Global enterprise including organization and transactions (IC)
  • Have DK VAT reporting experience
  • IT application skills, including MS Office and preferably Navision and AX
  • Speak and write both English and Danish
  • Work in a structured way, have the necessary attention to details, and have the ability to keep many things going at once
  • Have inherent high business ethics
  • Have a forthcoming personality, enjoying the social aspects of the job as well as the professional

 

Within 1 month you will:

  • Settle in and get to know your new colleagues in the HQ Finance department located in Allerød
  • Get introduced to the tasks and start learning the processes  

Within 3 months you will:

  • Run daily tasks independently 
  • Start building own portfolio of month-close tasks
  • Start learning about the business set-up and finance processes  

Within 9 months you will:

  • Be experienced within the daily processes
  • Run month-close tasks independently
  • Keep broaden the horizon within the company and global environment
