Our approach to safety
At Welltec, we maintain a comprehensive program for incident reporting, investigation, and continuous improvement. Our approach ensures that every incident, near miss, and observation is registered, analyzed, and used to drive safer operations.
Job Risk Assessment (JRA): For every job, we conduct a formal risk assessment to identify potential hazards, evaluate risks using a standardized matrix, and define actions and contingency plans to mitigate those risks. Toolbox talks and safety inductions ensure all personnel are informed and prepared.
Incident reporting: All workplace incidents, near misses, environmental events, quality issues, and health-related incidents are reported using our Synergi Life system. This ensures timely investigation, corrective actions, and organizational learning.
SCOP Card program: Safe and unsafe observations are captured through our SCOP card system, enabling proactive identification of potential risks and positive safety behaviors.
Lessons learned: We hold regular discussions and provide channels for sharing experiences and lessons learned, ensuring that improvements are implemented and knowledge is spread across the organization.
Continuous monitoring and communication: Our QHSE team uses a dedicated PowerBI dashboard to monitor trends, escalate recurring issues, and support improvements through management reviews and targeted safety campaigns. Safety flashes are sent out promptly when incidents occur, ensuring rapid awareness and response. QHSE status is presented regularly to all sales teams, HQ employees, and as a mandatory course for all new field staff.
