A história da Welltec
Em 1987, nosso futuro fundador teve uma ideia, a primeira de muitas. Como parte de sua tese para a Universidade Técnica da Dinamarca, Jørgen Hallundbæk inventou o Well Tractor. Uma inovação que transformou o setor e levou Jørgen a fundar a Welltec® em 1994.
O Well Tractor original foi um divisor de águas. Quando foi introduzido no mercado, permitiu intervenções que nunca foram possíveis anteriormente. O Well Tractor era único porque facilitava o transporte de outras ferramentas em poços horizontais e com grandes desvios, sem envolver grandes quantidades de equipamentos pesados.
Em vez disso, o Well Trator é corrido através de cabo elétrico possuindo comprimento de aproximadamente 3 metros. O que significa que pode ser transportado por helicóptero para mobilizações extremamente rápidas, reduzindo significativamente o número de pessoal e área ocupada por equipamentos que muitas vezes são necessários em outras soluções mais pesadas para intervenção. No que resultou? As empresas de petróleo mudaram sua estratégia com base nas novas possibilidades que o Well Trator ofereceu ao setor.
