Welltec® Streamview Pro

Advanced downhole visual analytics

Welltec Streamview Pro solutions

The Welltec Streamview Pro range of solutions enables live Video While Tractoring (VWT), providing operators with the ability to conduct detailed, high-definition assessments of downhole conditions.  Fully e-line conveyed, this service comes in multiple deployment options.

Integrated camera
Run the Streamview Pro with any e-line toolstring.  This integration capability enhances interventions by adding even greater visual detail to accompany standard Surface Readout (SRO) data, and provides the perfect support to downhole fishing operations, as just one example.

Standalone camera
The Streamview Pro can be deployed as a standalone service to diagnose downhole conditions.  Like all Welltec intervention services, this solution is fast, efficient, and lightweight for ease of deployment

Downhole video cameras

Welltec is introducing Streamview Pro, a range of downhole camera solutions that provide a 360° image of live downhole conditions via forward and sideview cameras.

Downhole cameras and video analytics are advanced technologies used in the oil and gas industry to monitor and assess wellbore conditions in real-time. These tools provide operators with crucial visual data, enabling accurate diagnostics of well integrity, detection of mechanical issues, and the identification of obstructions such as fish or debris.

Downhole cameras also allow for detailed monitoring of fluid flow, leak detection, and confirmation that tools like packers or valves are properly set. In completion and workover operations, they help evaluate the condition of casing and tubing, while in reservoir monitoring, they offer insights into fluid movement to optimize production strategies.

Built to endure extreme conditions, these cameras are indispensable for well intervention and performance optimization.

Applications
Downhole cameras are designed to withstand extreme conditions, such as high pressure and temperature, and are used in various well intervention and monitoring activities. They provide real-time visual data from inside the wellbore, allowing operators to:

  • Diagnosis: Inspect wellbore integrity, identify mechanical problems, and locate obstructions like fish or debris in fishing operations.
  • Monitor well performance: Check fluid flow, detect leaks, or confirm that downhole tools, such as packers or valves, are properly set.
  • Completion and workover: Evaluate the condition of casing, tubing, and completion equipment to determine whether remedial action is necessary.
  • Reservoir monitoring: Visualize reservoir conditions to understand fluid movement and optimize production strategies.
