Synopsis

When an operator in Southern Europe required a cost-effective solution to isolate two ½-inch punched holes in a 4-1/2” production tubing, a Welltec® Springblade Patch was deployed and set via wireline, then successfully pressure tested within a total operational time of 46.5 hours.

The solution provided a reliable seal with minimal impact on tubing inner diameter, enabling the operator to efficiently progress their well intervention program toward production from new intervals.

The successful outcome generated strong client interest in applying the technology in future operations.
