The department

You will be working closely with 24 other professionals within the finance department at our headquarters in Allerød, Copenhagen Area. 

HQ finance department consist of four other teams: Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Treasury and Tax. We all work as one team and we have daily cooperation with international finance colleagues. You will be a part of a team of 4 professionals working with consolidation, BI system, financial compliance, internal controls, group controlling and external reporting for the whole Welltec Group.  Welltec is present in 25 countries.

 

The position 

Welltec offers an exciting and challenging position in the finance head quarter. Welltec finance is in an exciting period of changes within internal procedures, ways of working and reporting on a worldwide basis.  You will have the opportunity to be a part of the development process meanwhile working with the monthly consolidation of group figures, changes to elimination set-up, assisting colleagues from around the world with system questions, external reporting and much more. 

This position also includes group controlling, participation in audits of Danish companies and a lot of ad hoc projects. The position will give you an international experience working with colleagues from all over the world. Since Welltec is present worldwide you will experience an international working environment including exiting challenges within the area of applying IFRS and other accounting regulations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the consolidation set-up in our BI system
  • Intercompany transactions reviews and set-up
  • Internal processes within consolidation
  • Maintain and optimize intercompany transaction flows and processes
  • Responsible for review of monthly group consolidation
  • Super-user for our ERP system (provide help to foreign colleagues)
  • Preparation of monthly group cash flow statement
  • Preparation of audit documentation
  • Group controlling of foreign entities
  • External reporting
  • Other ad hoc tasks

We do not expect that you are a super user of our ERP system from day one, but you will become one over a period of time. 

 

The candidate

We are looking for someone who has an interest in consolidation, ERP systems, BI systems, external reporting and group controlling.

The profile we are looking for:

  • Has at least 3-5 years of working experience within the finance area. It is an advantage if you have experience with consolidation, BI - and ERP systems in general
  • You hold a HD diploma in Regnskab & økonomistyring, a master’s degree in finance or similar education
  • Knowledge of Navision is an advantage (but not a requirement)
  • You have an overall knowledge of accounting principles
  • You can work in a dynamic environment, are detail oriented and take a pride in the work you deliver
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English (you will write and speak English on a daily basis)
  • You are ready to make a difference related to improvement of processes
